Inspired by the sculpture of David, an Italian Renaissance masterpiece created by Michelangelo between 1501 and 1504.

David's monument can be visited in the public square in front of the Palazzo della Signoria, seat of the civic government in Florence, where it was inaugurated on September 8, 1504.

David was originally commissioned as one of a series of statues of twelve prophets and was a favorite biblical figure in the art of Florence.

Vessel Candle Care

Trim wick to 1/8" before every burn. To trim the wick, simply pinch off the burnt piece of wood and discard.
Keep wax pool free of debris.
Do not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Never leave a candle unattended while burning.
Stop burning when 1/2" of wax remains. To use the last bit of wax, place the candle jar on a warmer.
Allow to cool before moving.
Keep away from air vents, windows, drafts, children, pets, and flammable objects.

Place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting.
